1.Yudhajitham sathru jitham cha hathwaa,
Rananganasthaa nuthibhi prasanna,
Subahu mukhya
ananugrahya bhakthaan,
Sarveshu
pasyathsu thirotha dadhaa.
1,Being in the battle field and killing
Yudhajit and other enemies,.
Getting pleased
with prayers in the battle field,
And after
blessing Subahu and
other devotees,
You disappeared
from there while every one was seeing.
2.Prushto
nrupaan praha sudarsanasthaan,
Drushtaa
bhavadbi khalu sarva
sakthaa,
Yaa nirgunaa yogibhir apya drusyaa,
Drusyaa cha bhakthai sagunaa vineethai.
2.When the kings asked
Sudarasana he told them,
“The goodess you saw, is the power of all,
When she does not
have any qualities . even,
Yogis cannot see her but when she has qualities,
Yogis cannot see her but when she has qualities,
All devotees with
humility can see her.
3.Yaa
rajasidham srujatheeva sakthir,
Yaa sathvikee
palayathiva viswam,
Yaa thamasi
samharatheeva sarvam,
Sad vasthu
sauvayadasath samastham.
3.That regal power
which appears to us as creator,
That saathvic power
which appears to rule the
world,
And that base power which appears to destroy everything,
That thing is the
Goddess and all nonexisting ,
Things are that
which is different from her.
4.Bhatharthi hanthri karunaa mayee saa,
Bhaktha duhaam
bheethikari peakaamam,
Vasan bharadwaja
thapovananthe,
Chiraaya
maathraa saha thaam bhajeham,
4.The Goddess who
is pervaded with mercy removes,
The problems of her devotees, gives great fear,
To those who
trouble her devotees and I have been ,
Praying to her from the
time I came to Bharadwaja Asram.
5Thaameva bhakthyaa
bhajatheha bukthi-,
Mukthi
pradamasthu shubham sadaa
va,
Sruthvedamaa namra mukhaa
sthadhe thi,
Sammanthrya bhoopaascha
thatho nivruthaa.
5.She is the one who
grants you good life here ,
And then salvation and so pray to her from now on,
You would always get good. Hearing this the kings,
Bowed their head and told him, “we will do.”
6.Sudarsano mathru
vadhu samethaa,
Subahumaprachaya radhadhirooda,
Pureem ayodhyaam
pravisam pureva,
Sita pathi sthoshayathi sma sarvaan.

6.Saudarasana along with his mother and bride ,
Took leave of Subahu,
got up his chariot,
Reached city of Ayodhya and like the lord of Sita,
Immersed every
one there in happiness.
7.Leelaavathim
prapya vimstharam cha,
Nathvaa
vishannaam hatha puthrathathaam,
Sadukthibhi karma
gathi prabodhya,
Sa santhvayamasa mahesi bhaktha.
7.Oh great goddess , he who was your devotee
sought,
Leelavathi whose
father and son were killed and,
Who was sorrowing and
did not have any support ,
Saluted her, consoled her by telling ,
The way of
karma in this world.
8. Janeshu pasyathsu
sudarasnothra,
Thwaam
poojayithwaa gurnaa abhishiktha ,
Rajye
thwadheeyam gruhamasu kruthwaa,
Poojaa vidhanaadhi cha
samvrudatha.
8.Then Sudarsan worshipped the goddess ,
When all people were seeing and was anointed,
By The Guru and
with speed constructed your temple,
And systematized
your procedure of worship.
9.THasmin nrupe
thwath sadanaani kruthwaa,
Janaa prathi
gramamapoojayan sthwaam,
Kasyaam Subahuscha
thadhaa akarith they,
Sarvathra pethu
karuna kadaksha.
9.Under his rule people constructed temples,
For you and worshipped
you and Subahu,
Did the same in
city of Benares and everywhere,
Your sight drenched in mercy was flowing.
10.Na karmanaa na prajayaa dhanena,
Na yoga sankhyaadhivichinthayaa cha,
Na cha
vruthenaapi sukhanubhoothir,
Bhaktthyaiva marthya
sukhamethi maatha,
10.Oh mother ,
neither by doing rituals,
Nor by
children m nor by wealth, nor by,
Practicing yoga as
well as Thanthra,
We would get
pleasure an people ,
Would get pleasure
only due to devotion.
11.Naaham subahuscha
Sudarsanascha,
Na may Bharadwaja muni saranya,
Guru suuhrud
bandhuropi thwamaiva,
Maheswari
thwao sathatham namami.
11.I am not Subahu nor am I sudarasana nor ,
Sage Bharadwaja and Oh greatest Goddess,
Only you have been my Guru and you are,
My only relatives and friend and ,
I always am
saluting you.
